Active carbon fiber veil application
ACF (Active carbon fiber) has become a new and multi-functional sorbing material since 1970S. Now it’s the third-generation product developing from powder ACF and granular ACF. ACF has big specific surface area (1000~3000m2/g) and plentiful micropores which takes more than 90% of total volume. Compared to granular ACF, 3rd generation ACF has bigger sorbing capacity and quick sorbing power performance. In fluid phase and air phase, ACF has better efficiency in sorbing organic and anions and cations. Besides, it can be used by regeneration cycle. Meanwhile it can stand acid, alkali and high temperature. It’s an ideal environment protection material because of its electricity conductivity and chemical stability. With the exploration and understanding of ACF’s surface structure and performance, much more attention had been paid to the research of ACF surface modification and its application in purification of pollutant.
MANMU ACF veil is made of rayon and PAN base fiber, has features of big specific surface area, suitable hole diameter, uniform distribution, quick sorbing and small impurity. It can be widely applied to purify water and air, recycle solvent, medical and biological protection and etc.
