Advantages of ACF

Active carbon fiber (ACF) is mainly used for purifiying enviroment, sorbing harmful substances and recycle organic compounds with following advantages:

1. Compare to carbon fiber, ACF has better sorbing ability, such as sorbing thiol, ACF can sorb 40 times more than carbon fiber. For trace pullutant which concentration is lower than 10ppm, ACF has great sorbing ability.
   

2. ACF has quick sorbing ability. For the same thichness sorbing layer formed by ACF and carbon fiber, air toluene blows to the sorbing layer at same speed, if 10ppm concentration is qualified at outlet, ACF can be used for longer time than active carbon.

3. ACF has high sorbing efficiency. For some air substances, ACF sorbing ability can be reached to 800%, while active carbon is just 100%.

4. ACF has better mouldability. It can be processed to different kinds of shapes and applied in different fileds.

With cellulose and PAN base, Shanghai MANMU ACF can be applied to recycle solvent and sorb harmful substances.
